Free for those staying in the Fruita campground, $5 for everyone else. There were no payment envelopes present on the day we were there but was able to obtain one from the campground host. The area around the dump station includes several trash bins, a non-potable water faucet for washing out your hose and 2 potable water taps (1 attached to a wand and the other being a freeze-proof faucet). The non-potable water was also on a wand attachment and couldn't be used with the built-in black water tank cleaner we have but we managed fine without it. It's rare to find a dump station at an NPS campground and we'd been boondocking for several days outside the park before staying at the campground so this was a welcome sight :-). The only downgrade in the scoring was the lack of a non-potable faucet for connecting out tank cleaner to and for the frayed condition of the non-potable water hose.

You will need your own hose for potable water. Not too far if you’re boon-docking right outside the park

Didn’t stay in campground, just paid $5 to dump camper and fill water tank. Nice dump facility. Easy to access for most all rigs. Existing potable and non potable hoses they have do not have hose bib connectors, but they do have a potable tap you can connect your hose to there, as well. Wasn’t very busy on a Saturday afternoon.

This is a dump station inside the Capitol Reef National Park. We did not stay in the campground but needed to dump and fill water. The campground is very easy to access and is about a mile from the park’s visitor center. Follow the signs off Hwy 24 and you cannot miss it. You want to pull-in at Loop A&B and the dump station is immediately to your left. It is $5 to dump and the potable water is free. The potable water is clearly marked and is at the dump station as well. There are two spigots for potable water so if you are just filling jugs, you can fill, and any RVs can fill with the other water hose or dump at the same time. There are also dumpsters. The $5 is paid as an honor envelope system and you can drop off your envelope at the station right by the turn to the dump so make sure you have change. The area was nice and wide and easy to get in and out. We could not find any other places to dump nearby so we stopped twice (once on the way in and again on the way out).
