So this is a nice campground. Has showers, laundry, electric and water and some full. But no wifi. But it totals out to $50+ a night with the daily park pass. That's more than a lot of private campgrounds and with more amenities.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in the site #17, a FHU, PT site for $36/night. Roads were asphalt and the sites were asphalt with a concrete pad where the rig was parked. The site had a lovely, large patio area with a covered picnic table and beautifully raked small gravel surface. The park waters the areas around the sites several times a week. It was easy to navigate and the crescent shaped pull throughs had a flattened arc making it very easy to get in and positioned well. Many times I have had to back into crescent shaped sites due to the curve, but this was great. There was a small bathroom at my end of the campground with a larger facility in the middle. The large bathhouse was not air conditioned so it was very hot, especially the laundry. I had 2 bars 5G Verizon, no wifi and didn’t check for OTA channels. I did get concerned at one point because the amps dropped pretty low (112-116A) due to high A/C usage – temps got over 100 and nights only cooled down to the 70’s. I never had a problem, but it was a little worrisome. The park is close to Colorado National Monument, McInnis and Horsethief SRA – all had great hiking. Definitely would come back here (just maybe not in July…)

Site 20 looked over storage units. Traffic noise from I-70 was prevalent. Well maintained pull thru sites made setting up a breeze. I would consider this an overnight stop or base for visiting Grand Junction

The staff was great, check in was a breeze. All the facilities were well maintained. Even the dump station was clean.
There is road noise from highway 340 and I-70.

IMPORTANT: Save at least a half day to tour the spectacular 23 mile drive thorough the Colorado National Monument which encompasses the entire bluff west of the Robb CG. The Visitor Center is reached after a steep drive to the top of the bluff. There is a small CG adjacent to the Center, but has only a few level pads. For the best views down into the east facing 1000 foot deep canyons, plan your tour in the morning

This area can be very hot and working air conditioning is a huge help. Most sites had a covered picnic tables. Some sites had shade trees. The normal habitat for this area is desert sage brush. So all the trees and grass are courtesy of transplanting and heavy watering.
Speaking of water and watering. The water is definitely hard. I would not fill my fresh water tank up with this and will flush my system with better water later. I'm not certain why they are on an everyday watering schedule, but they are, and you will want to find the sprinkler heads and not put anything in their path that you don't want to clean hard water deposits off of.
No wifi, cell was good but slow, free showers at this time, shower house had working laundry
