“Well designed facility”

This is a very well conceived campground design - with an ADA gravel horse/ bike/ walking trail that runs throughout the park, giving the impression of being 'in the woods'. The sites are universally large, well distanced, and level. We spent 4 nights in the "T" loop with our Lance 1475' (17') and it felt like we had two sites it was so spacious! The staff was very nice, even with the Corona restrictions. We didn't need the rest room facilities, but we checked them out and everything was clean. We also were one of the few occupied sites in late July (someone mentioned that this may have been a result of the Canadian border closing, as the campground its about 2 hours from Montreal) You can occasionally hear some traffic noise from I87, but the brand new Paradox Brewery is literally a 10 minute walk from the campground, so that was a plus for me! I spent my 65th birthday there and appropriately bought some "Get Off My Lawn" brew. Good times.

We were boon docking, and my only 'complaint' was the lack of access to water. I'd advise anyone wanting to do the same to check the campground map for spigot locations! I'm glad we did - there is a spigot right next to the site we chose (T89), but we still needed a good 100' of hose to refill our fresh tank after a couple of days. Most sites were too far away to have done that.

“Beautiful quiet in the forest of the Adarondack Mountains”

Beautiful, quiet, and clean! Large campsites with easy access.
The 13 sites with electricity were booked so I opted for a tent site. Plenty of room even with my 30' trailer.
The bath houses were spotless!
We didn't have reservations but was allowed to drive around and pick a spot. The staff could have not been nicer!
