I was really impressed at how beautiful and organized the place was, though.

We didn’t use the pool or other amenities. It is very close to the French Quarter. A 10 minute walk and you’re in the heart of the action. This is why we chose this place (we stayed outside of town in the KOA last time we were in NOLA). The noise, especially all the sirens, is almost a show stopper for us. The park is right next to an elevated portion of I10 which causes some of the noise issues. But the police/fire/ambulance sirens were on another level. All times of the day/night during our stay. So, we would stay here again, but in non-Covid times when the KOA has their free shuttle running to/from the FQ we would probably consider that option first (half the price of this resort and much quieter).

We have a 44 foot motorhome and getting in and out was easy and site large with grass and plenty of space to park our jeep. You do need to unhook your tow but there is a space right outside the entrance you can do that. We made the mistake of unhooking on the main road, no need to do that. You do need to unhook your tow but there is a space right outside the entrance you can do that. We made the mistake of unhooking on the main road, no need to do that. As others stated, resort is a 5 minute walk to French Quarter and I felt very safe in the park due to large concrete wall and locked gate. You are very close to the highway so bring your noise canceling machine :) Warning...due to COVID, New Orleans and French Quarter are empty and most restaurants have limited hours. It was very strange the lack of people. Even Jackson Square is padlocked closed. Lots of homeless around and felt a little uneasy walking around. Wouldn't be there at night during this time.

Level sites, beautifully paved, with a great common area with a pool. Really enjoyed our stay here, and so accessible to the quarter. We literally couldn’t have even parked closer to the French Quarter. Great park. Highly recommend.

Safe, but a little loud with construction next door. 3 other RVs there. We stayed 2 nights enjoyed the Quarter day and night. Spooky Cemetery across the street but wife loved that.

The only real complaint was out of the RV park's control: The relentless sound of jackhammers and piledrivers right next door at a construction site. It certainly made for a comical Mardi Gras hangover wake up call :)

Oh, our GPS took us on a round about so ask them how best to get there when you book. I-10 is across the street and a bit loud during the daytime, but less so at night.

Sugar Bowl special rate of $250 was steep, especially since we were just passing through. Nice & secure. #39 is near bathroom so convenient. Coffee pot on in rev room & complimentary ice machine nice touch. 1 block walking distance to the Quarter is sketch, as expected. Road noise not too bad after AC running. Easy access off highway.

Area around is bit rough, but is gated with residents having the code for 24/7 access in/out. While within walking distance would limit to day and early evening.
It is next to interstate, but the highway is up high which really cuts down the noise. Didn’t notice at all at our location.
Next to St Louis #2 cemetery for some good ghosts stories. 😊

It was very sad as we had stayed here a couple years ago and it was nice. We won’t be back.
