“How I wish they cared more”

Reviewed May 07, 2018

Overall Rating

There are so many ways in which this park is superlative: the location, adjacent to the French Quarter and I10; the maintenance crew, which is readily available; the coffee; the rest rooms; the weight room, a real rarity on the road; an ice machine; the friendliness of the staff; the security in a dangerous town. In all those respects,... more

“Great RV Park for Visiting New Orleans”

Reviewed Mar 28, 2018

Overall Rating

I will admit, I was sort of nervous as we pulled into town and pulled into the RV resort. The surrounding area around the resort isn’t the best. However, once I pulled into the park, I quickly realized why it was rated so high. Despite the I-10 noise and typical major city noises, the park is beautiful, fully gated and barbwires around... more

“Walk to everything French Quarter”

Reviewed Jan 16, 2018

The price point goes without saying because the location is unbeatable if you want to be 2 blocks to the French Quarter shops and restaurants. Not having a tow vehicle, this is always a consideration for us and we will pay for this luxury. The RV park is right off I-10 and there are signs guiding you to the entrance. We did arrive... more

Nice, clean site! Excellent upkeep! Very close to the French quarter and nice amenities for relaxation. Jacuzzi was nice although it was not very hot on our second night and the owner said it was as high as it could go. (Weird because we could only handle 20 minutes the day before and could not get warm on this night.) No campfir... more

As everyone else says, this is an ideal (and unique) choice if you’re looking to experience NoLa without having to drive in and out and park. We’ve actually stayed here several times and love the location. My only comments would be that you’re paying exclusively for the location. It would be easy for these guys to up their game ... more

Again, you get what you pay for. This place is astronomically priced at $108, but given the options in New Orleans, worth the $. The cost keeps out the riff-raff (sorry, riff-raff… but I doubt you know who you are), and affords a true resort in the city. The place is not huge, but it is beautiful. Main building looks very NOLA, all bri... more

If you want to live *in* the city, and walk to the French Quarter each night, this is your one and only place. Cheaper than a hotel room, but easily the most costly RV park you will find outside of California. FQRV is immaculate though. Perfect grass, perfect sites, perfect showers... you are getting what you paid for here. Only down s... more

What previous posters have said is spot on, so I will try to not repeat what they said, but add some other info. The rv park is next to I-10, so the closer your site is to the interstate the noisier it will be. The west side backs up to buildings that run AC compressors and the east side is bordered by a park. It was totally worth it to us to pay the extra money to stay at the French Quarter RV Resort while visiting New Orleans. We were able to walk or take a trolley everywhere we wanted to go. The RV park is in the city, so there is some city noise. We blocked it out by running the fan on our A/C whenever we were home. Campsites are d... more
