My poor rating is based on the response We received regarding electrical issues in one of the two spots that we had reserved. The power went out twice within a five hour period. It was after dark the second time and no one was available to help. The park was half empty so we were going to move to another spot. The security guard came down and said they would call the cops if we moved to a different spot. This was during August 2023 temperatures were in the 100’s during the date and it didn’t cool off much at night. They did after threatening to call cops finally tell us to take another spot for duration of stay which thankfully was only one more day. Poor poor customer service.

It's like a secure compound inside the RV resort. Very clean and pretty place once inside. Very secure, best security for a New Orleans RV campground and close to Bourbon St., French Quarter, etc. RV sites are large, slanted and easy to back into, all on cobblestone. "Premium Sites" not worth it in our opinion, not much different than non-premium except a little more elbow room. Had an awesome time in NOLA and we would only stay here is we come back.
Word of caution: Although this place is very secure and safe, we do not recommend walking from here to Bourbon St. for security reasons. We did Uber during the day or night, was only about 10 bucks. Once you are at Bourbon St., French Quarter, etc... you are good to go. However, outside of this area it's not pretty and crime is a real thing. We drove during the day ONE TIME and parked in a public parking area you pay for. While we were there, a truck close to us had a smashed out window. There was another smashed out window on the ground near this truck. We left and took Uber back, not worth the BS!
There is highway noise as it's right next to the campground. Big community event at a park next to us with loud live music for a while. Not a big deal to us but there ya go...

Arrival was efficient as we were met quickly at the gate, and shown our assigned site. the premium sites are away from the freeway(very quiet) and have private screened in sitting areas. . The resort has everything, pool, washer/dryers, fitness room, toilets with showers( that are clean and in great working order), and great WiFi. #33 is a great site, but so are the surrounding ones.
We walked back and forth to the French quarter(10-15 minutes) during the day, and used a car service for our returns after dark.
We have been to New Orleans several times over the years, staying here added a little extra to our visit.

Pavers and concrete, little grass for dog(-), secure gated community, private immaculate shower rooms and nice pool-tub. Streamable wifi. Very clean. Would most definitely stay again. Only con was overpass bridge noise. Our sleep machine drown it out for the most part.
TIP: When you book, don’t be fooled by paying a premium price for a nice location. We did, and was two spaces from under the overpass bridge. Ask for premium close to office or in the front.

There's a reason the price is over $100 per night; you can easily walk through the french quarter and to Bourbon Street. We were able to book for a week which brought the cost per night down to about $105. Checkin was easy as someone met us at the gate, gave us a packet, and told us which way to go. Checkout was as easy as leaving by 11am; this is very strict and no late checkouts are given.
The sites are close together, but felt further apart since there was plenty of room for our rig and truck. There's a small patch of grass behind each site that has a swing or enclosed sitting area. The whole area is paved with brick (pavers) and looks nice.
There's 50/30/15 amp service, water, and sewer at each site. The only complaint was our elbow was too close to the ground so it was hard to hookup our hose. Getting into the site was very easy as there's plenty of road space and the sites are at a slight angle. Cell service was good for Verizon and ATT. We didn't have any issues streaming or taking video calls.
There's a hot tub and pool with a little bar area-and chairs around the pool. There are 4 bathroom/shower combinations that were always clean. There's also laundry that accepts credit cards. The ice machine was great and always full.
The only downside was the noise of the highway and industrial area next door. This definitely wasn't a deal breaker though. We will be back and recommend staying here if you want easy access to the french quarter!

This site was located immediately under the highway, the noise was deafening. Pool and hot tub were somewhat clean as were the washrooms. The pro is the location, walking distance from Bourbon Street. Would probably not stay there again due to the noise.

I loved everything about my 2 night stay at French Quarter RV Resort. At $120/night, I thought it was a little pricey, but if you try to save a few bucks by staying across the river (closest park I could find) you'd be spending whatever you saved in taxi/Uber rides. Don't even think about PARKING near the French Quarter - that's insane as it's super expensive and hard to find.
The RV park is very clean, easy to navigate, easy walking distance to all the French Quarter sights. Additionally, it's close to a terrific hike/bike trail that takes you to Mid-City and Audubon Park. Although I didn't use the park's bathrooms/showers, I checked them out and they were super clean/modern. The office was efficient and on-site host was helpful. This place takes security very seriously and I felt very safe in the park. Best of all, it's right next to I-10, so it's convenient and I thought the road noise was negligible.
Is this a place where you want to hang out in front of your RV and soak up the sun and peaceful ambiance, absolutely not - you're here to explore one of America's great cities and this is a convenient launching those explorations

We were a bit freaked out when we saw the surrounding urban area, but the resort is beautiful and secure with large sites - and beautifully maintained. The pool, laundry, and bath houses are so nice! Being so close to I-10 and surrounded by city streets, it was noisy and bright at night, but we used our white noise app and were able to sleep well. We were able to walk to the French Quarter and the River with no problem; although I hear it's well-lit and safe to walk at night, we were back before dark. It's a very short walk to the Basin Street Visitor Center where you can pick up buses. There are private tours that will pick you up and drop you off right at the gate. Besides all this good news, the staff deserves special mention - each one being nicer and more helpful than the next. We had a great experience here!

This is the closest RV site you will find to the Quarter in New Orleans. The area was secure and the check-in was very easy. The staff were great and didn’t have any issues. The park was well maintained and while the sites were close to each other, all the neighbors were fine. Didn’t use any of the amenities but looked well taken care of.
