Hi Diane. Yes, the spaces are wide enough to use slides, at least on one side. If you are lucky enough to snag an end space next to the landscaping, you could probably do double slides. We've stayed at these rest areas, both north and southbound several times and never had an issue leveling or using our slides. Enjoy!
