Question about French Creek State Park

Was wondering if there’s a quick stop on the way to buy local firewood. Also any tips or suggestions about French Creek? Looks like there’s plenty to do.

A couple homeowners along the road into the park sell firewood in their front yards with an honor payment box. We bought from one of those homeowners. We did a day trip to VALLEY FORGE NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK. Catch the guided trolley tour at the Visitor's Center for $20/pp.

You can buy firewood either way on Rt 345. The guy to the south (Rt 23 side) wraps his and has an honor box for his $6.00 bundles. Definitely hike and check out Hopewell Furnace. You can boat and fish as well. Brandywine Brach Distillery, Hidden River Brewery, and Hares Hill Brewery are all close by.
