Overall Rating
This campground is part of the Thousand Trails system. As a member there was no additional out of pocket costs to stay. This campground is free/affordable for those with a TT membership. You do not have to be a member to stay here. It was a former Jellystone park, not sure when it switched owners.
Campground sits on Partridge Lake and has a mixture of back in and pull through sites. Some water & electric only, others with FHU. There are many seasonal/permanent residents here. They also have tent only areas and rent out cabins.
The roads in the campground are a mixture of gravel and pavement. There was a fair amount of rain one of the nights. The next morning there were areas with large amounts of free standing water on the roads. Staff were out filling the potholes with gravel.
Site 125 was a back in site. It had a picnic table and fire ring. Needed blocks to get level in the site. The surprise at the site was that it was actually a 30 & 50 AMP site. When I made reservations online it said that sites were only 20/30 Amp with water.
Campground has showers, restrooms, a small store, game room, snack bar, mini golf, jump pad, volleyball, pool, and a boat ramp to the lake. The showers and restrooms are dated, but could be cleaner. There was some mold in the women’s shower. The large slide at the pool was closed for maintenance. The laundry area that was advertised was closed during my stay. There is one dump station that was fairly level and easy to access
Verizon signal at site 125 varied between 1-2 bars LTE and 5G. Sometimes it worked great to stream a couple hours of the Olympics and other times it wasn’t even adequate to search the internet. Did not get satellite or any OTA channels from site.
