Arrived when it was dark already, but scouted the place through Google Maps satellite view and previous review. Felt safe to just take the first 'road' onto the large gravel lot to the right. Saw two more campers and did not have problems to find a level spot. Just this area would easily accommodate about a dozen RVs, and there's a lot more space available if you plan to stay longer. Although it's just 3 minutes from the highway we did not hear any noise. Great spot for a quick stop but we would also consider to stay a few more nights next time. Our dog loved it! Even met some roaming cattle.
Picked some trash, as always. Please do the same.

A very nice stop on the way to the Grand Canyon. Tons of room for any size setup. Only one other camper in the area. Can’t hear any highway noise from this location

Stopped here for the night during our travel up north. Parked behind a gravel mound farthest from the freeway to shield from the noise and wind. Used our Level Mate Pro to find a level spot. Very minimal to setup for the night. Didn’t hear a thing and was a great overnight. There are plenty of spots and would stay here again.

Like the other reviews, nice gravel space, somewhat level. Went to east end, and just a little interstate noise. But when we were here a lot of wind, the piles of gravel some, but it’s windy! Good AT&T cell coverage.

I parked behind one of the very large rock piles. It cut down on the wind and fwy noise. There were some utv in the area. There was remnants of the area being used as a firing range.
I would stay here again.
It is just gravel area, and it can be a challenge to find a level spot.

Easy to find and plenty of room for several rigs. Lots of bottles, bullets, tires and trash so be mindful where you drive park. It is thick gravel but we didn’t sink in and high wind gusts so we oriented nose into for a smooth night!

Free, easy access off the interstate, no noise. Pretty level. It’s a huge gravel area you could turn a freight train around here. Great cell coverage. I could see it getting muddy easily during rain.

“Didn’t End Up Staying ”
noted 5/25/2023
A lot of heavy machinery parked in the gravel area no one was there but didn’t want to be in anyone’s way or wake up to construction. Seemed like there were more areas to camp down the road but we just decided to continue closer to our destination
