“Dump station operational ”

The dump station was operational. The flush hose had no hose ending attached so you could flush your hose but not your tank. There is no fresh water. There is a site down the street across from the VFW that offers fresh water but it doesn’t have a hose attachment. You could fill some water jugs though.

Overall Rating
This is close to the Glenn Highway with Easy on and Easy off access. There is no cost to dump at this station. There is a threaded hose to hook up to the black flush hook ups on newer RV’s.

“Our Go-To dump in Eagle River”

We tend to shop Fred Meyer and get our gas there when in Alaska, so this is our go-to location when visiting family in the area. We tend to shop Fred Meyer and get our gas there when in Alaska, so this is our go-to location when visiting family in the area. While I've very appreciative of Freddies support of visiting RVers and the price on this dump, I'm not excited about the design.
The dump is in the center of a curve on the SW side of the fuel station. The curve limits how close you can position your rig. Flush water is provided and DOES have a threaded fitting so you can backflush if necessary.
While I've never asked, I've never spotted a potable water source associated with this dump facility.
This facility is located near a freeway exit for easy access to the dump, station, and store. It's also easily accessible to folks enjoying the challenge of RV operation for the first time through one of the several popular RV rental companies in Alaska. As such, you might observe some thought provoking approaches to this necessary process.
