Our first stay after we got our new baby (Sept 22) Bullet! Best site so far! We stayed in #19. Full hookups, ok bathrooms but nice and big enough to ride bikes, fish and hike with the kids. Very chill! Firewood sold at the ranger station. I would recommend for sure!

Nice, clean, quiet and no frills state park. Most sites are lake front. Several trails to walk. The one bathhouse the we looked at was date but clean. There is a nice playground on the other side of the park in the day use area.

One of the best lakeside camping sites we have used. sites 1-23. Electric, water, sewer, WIFI. Good hikes by the lake and especially out over the bridge to Memorial Island. Sites level and mostly shaded. Modern, immaculate clean bathrooms with adjoining laundry.

It's off the beaten path but we went here because a storm in FL closed the state parks there.
The sites are nice level dirt pads. The lake is beautiful with a sandy bottom but shallow.
As others noted you will leave with an infestation of ants. They are sweet ants so get some Terro.
The bathrooms are OK but HOT. The fans quit working decades ago.
The trails are nice but be careful if you walk the bridge to the island the planks are rotten.
Our neighbor was left with a bunch of trash to cleanup when he arrived prior to us.
It just seems they have given up.
Not worth the money paid.

We told the management and they understood, and said tghey had a intensive treatment planned for a month or so from now. They gave me a refund and asked me to try them again in 2021. I have AT&T and I got great 4G LTE coverage. The big, flat concrete sites, are easy to get into.

Not much to do, but if you want to make it a base to say go to the Florida beaches or some of the nice swimming lakes nearby it’s worth it.
