“We Didn’t Actually Stay….Big Rigs Stay Away!”

It is NOT big rig friendly. While the campsite may fit a big rig, the turn into the campground does NOT! It looks like a nice quiet place to stay, if you are a small rig or overlander - 30 ft or less. The road getting there is one lane and very curvy, max 10% incline. If you are a big rig, that first turn could have you sideways in the ditch. One guy staying there mentioned a big rig went into the ditch and it took two wreckers to get him out! 😳🥴 Some of the sites are right on the stream, a great place to stay with a small rig! Big rigs stay away!!!

Overall Rating
We’ve stayed here a few times. Most sites are right on Rock Creek. No hookups but there are toilets. They do have a quiet time but no host. We have mostly had good experiences. One time we did have some rude neighbors that were loud all night but that’s the risk you take in a place like this. Most of the time everyone is very polite and observant of the quiet times.
