Best advice, if you arrive in the evening, pick a spot and sleep for the night before scouting, a better place in daylight that best suits your needs

Can’t boondock any closer to the Grand Canyon than this!Several sites available, most right along the road, but a few set back in the timber a bit. Most sites were also rather small with limited sites suitable for larger rigs. Very little traffic so it was nice and quiet. Good Verizon signal strength.

The road it actually not bad with the exception of a few rutted out spots at the beginning. Decent trees for shade and privacy but might pose a problem for some tall rigs in certain parts of the road and sites.
