Overall Rating
The road to the campground is at least 7 miles of tooth jarring rocks and washboard. No special clearance is needed but do not drive this with a full bladder.
The campground itself was well maintained and suitable for smaller RVs. Sites were mostly level and had a fire ring and picnic table. The sites are set up for tents.
Large RVs will have issues with the turns.
The campground has pit toilets and dumpsters.
We had no Verizon coverage.

Overall Rating
We stayed many years ago (before kids) in order to climb Mount Sherman. This time we came back with 2 dogs, 2 young kids, and 2 tents. The campground was nice and clean. There’s a great hike right across the road from the campground which was great for the kids. Kids and dogs also just enjoyed playing in the creek along the road. It wouldn’t stop raining so we cut our trip short but we’ll be back.
