We stayed at 4-Mile Creek in mid-July 2024 and found the grounds clean and the lots spacious. There are lot of shade trees but most of the sites are a mix of sun and shade. The office folks, camp store folks and other workers were very friendly and hospitable. The facilities are excellent and spotless. The location is excellent for visiting Lewiston and Niagara (falls and fort) and your campground pass saves you the parking fees at the falls. I cannot think of any negatives as far as the park goes. However, be aware that it is a popular weekend getaway for locals and can be crowded and noisy, with a lot of kids on bikes and E-machines. Drive carefully! Also, when we were there, fireworks were on display Saturday nights. They are visible from the campground and a nice touch to your stay. We would definitely stay here again although probably not over a weekend.

Great spot right on Lake Ontario. I had a non-electric site in the middle of the campground with no shade. Sites are large in comparison to some state park campgrounds. Sunset over the lake was beautiful. Very quiet in the park overnight. Staff was very helpful - Ladies in the office gave me great tips and brochures on visiting Niagara that really helped me out! Verizon coverage wasn't great. Town of Lewiston and the Fort Niagara are worth a visit when in the area.

Large well maintained campground on the shore of Lake Ontario. Check in upon entering, staff very friendly and helpful, full of information. We were in site 236, backed against the lake, for a lovely view out our back picture window. Site was very level which allowed us to set up quickly, a good thing too because we were in the midst of a massive gnat hatch. Little buggers did no harm other than be super annoying. Campground filled up as we were there over a weekend. Large grassy areas, more than adequate space between sites. Bathrooms and showers relatively clean except for the ever-present gnats. Adequate laundry room, also plagued with gnats, hadn’t been swept out in a while, but worked fine. $2.50 per load to wash, $2 to dry. Cell signal in our site was spotty, and often pinged off Canadian towers, so if you don’t have an international, beware. Once I got closer to the restroom building cell signal picked up, and over the next couple of days we had decent signal. Nice drive up to Niagara Falls, a long bike trail starting nearby in Youngstown, which goes all the way to the falls. Not much else in the vicinity. They do have a camp store but we did not go in.

We had a site with electric hook up and you fill with water. There are fill stations all throughout the campground. Very well maintained park. Very green and lush with nice sunset views over lake Ontario. There's not much privacy yet some do have a little privacy. Our site #222 was large and level. We had some shade. We had 2 fire pits one near our camper and another near the lake.
There is a little camp store open on weekends only and they sell firewood at the store. You have to back your rig in they do not let you pull in sideways if you do they will make you move it.
On a normal day you can see the skyline of Toronto yet the wild fires kept things hazy. We weren't bothered by smoke just hazy.
The bath houses are very nice and clean. There is a laundry room at every bath house. The volunteers/staff were very nice and helpful.
The birds were amazing we enjoyed watching them and listening to them sing. We had a yellow warbler that landed on the window of the camper that would look in at us. I think it saw it's reflection. Every day it visited a lot.
This campground is about 15 minutes from Niagara Falls. The drive to Niagara is beautiful along the scenic byway. There are small state parks all along the way with different over looks like whirlpool state park a favorite. There is a Devils hole was pretty too. You can walk from park to park along a trail along the river. It is beautiful.
With your hang tag frotthe campground you can park for free at Niagara Falls. The lot says to pay and you push the button for help they ask you a few things and you get in free.
On the way back from Niagara falls to the campground we stopped at Fort Niagara. It is a big fort with great history. The Fort looks amazing. There is a big castle at the end.
There is a lighthouse there you can go in and up to the top for free.
We at at Sanger Farms & bakery which is advertised in the paperwork they give you for the campground map. We had pizza it wasn't very good. I would not eat there again.
We did eat at Bandanas Bar & Grill a few times it was excellent. The salad, rib eye steak with red potato's and broccoli was so good.
We wanted to go to Apple Granny's for dinner yet the street was closed with a big garden fair.
Did I mention the Winery Bella Rosa? They have tastings/flights of beer and wine. They gave a good pour. Excellent wines. They have great wine glasses too I bought 4 of them. We had gone to get gas at Smokin Joes (Indian run so no taxes). The winery was right there near Smokin Joes. For those who partake there is a dispensary there at Smokin Joes too.
This campground is a place I would go back to. Very nice with a lot to do around there.

She hooked us up with a beautiful site last minute. The campground is green and lush. Huge sites. Electric at most sites. Some primitive. No water at the site but many water stations around the park. There are 2 separate dump stations. We’ve already picked out sites we hope to get next summer. Love this place.

Nice campground near Niagara Falls. Quiet and relaxing after all the crowds at attractions. Outside the campground, buy firewood for $5 vs $9 at campground.

The highway noise was pretty bad until late.
Bathrooms are really nice.
Close to Niagara Falls. If you have a trailer do yourself a favor and drop it off here before heading to the Falls. Parking near the falls with a camper was hard to come by.
Had to show dogs rabies certificate at check in.
Seemed pet friendly otherwise.
