Foscue Creek Campground is a beautiful COE park with full hook ups at most sites. We stayed in site #33 which is a level, back in site with a concrete pad and gravel around an aluminum picnic table and fire ring. The campsites are spaced well enough apart from neighbors to feel some privacy. Backing into the site with our 42’ 5th wheel was easy and we fit, only because about 8’ of the rig extended beyond the pad, so that we could disconnect and also park our dually in the site. Many of the other sites were much longer than ours, being able to accommodate rigs plus fishing boats.
Our site was right next to a bridge, so our pad faced a small area of stagnant water. We loved seeing all the turtles in the water, even counting as many as 33 at one time. The one downside we experienced was the gnats, all over the campground – they were relentless and put a damper on being able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.
The camp hosts were very friendly and always working to keep the grounds nice, including raking and cleaning sites after each use. The grounds were mowed, and the wood decks were pressure washed while we were there. There is 1 bath house in each loop, but I can’t speak to the cleanliness as we did not use them. There is a small playground in each loop as well. There are a couple of kayaks available for use at no charge, with plenty of water to float in. Many people go there to fish on the river, as we saw many campers there with boats. There is a beautiful trail walk along the river, approximately 1 mile in length, that we walked every day. One recommendation I would make would be to place garbage cans around the grounds, as there were none.
Both our T-Mobile home internet and Verizon phone coverage worked well. Also, the campground was very accommodating for our mail delivery, either delivering our packages to our site or calling us when they were ready to be picked up.

Price is $28 for water electric or $30 full hookups. Cheaper rates are with Senior NPS pass for 1/2 off. Clean bath house, nice host. Close to highway.

We've heard that the bugs are pretty bad in the warmer months. Almost all sites have some type of water frontage / access. The campground is on the Tombigbee Waterway and just above one of the dams. The are a lot of well maintained walking trails with plenty of native fauna identification signage. Just down the road at the dam there are also some additional trails with a lot of interesting plants and tree varieties. The Foscue camp hosts were extremely nice and they had firewood for sale on the honor system. The bathhouses were well maintained and clean. We will definitely stay here again while in the area.

Stayed here on a bitter cold night in January. I was greeted by a warm friendly host who did a nice job explaining the campground rules. Got to my site just after sunset but saw the pretty glow over the Tombigbee River. Quiet all night. (Doubt anyone was staying out late with temps in the low 20s.)

Almost every site is on water. A great park for a stroll. Not many COE parks have full hookups but many of the sites in Foscue Creek do. Easy access from Hwy 80. Camp host provided escort to site. Every fire ring cleaned. Very well maintained park. Senior or access pass gets you half off.

This is a great place Thor a night or a few days. Park is clean and well maintained. The hosts were friendly and available if needed. Very quite and most sites are full hook ups. Ours was a pull through on the water, level and spacious. We will return and spend more time in the future.
