Overall Rating

Jan 2022: This is a very nice RV Park. Wide spaces, trees, grass, level concrete pads, wide access roads, and quiet. Straight shot through the post main gate, no barriers to wiggle around. Was a bit of challenge making way back to RV park, some roads have no signage. Post has a new Exchange and large Commissary. There is a wi-fi hotspot at back of the park office but not through out the park. We liked this one!

Overall Rating

We stay here often since the in laws are still here. We lived in nearby Helotes before we retired and went full time. The slots are level, pretty roomy and well maintained. This part of SA is convenient to nearly everything. The Salado creek greenway is nearby, access to 30+ Miles walk/bike trails. PX & Commissary are close enough as well as HEB & Walmart & Lowe’s off base.

Service related DAV, unless 100% disabled, must acquire visitor pass ar visitor center (Walter gate on Hood Rd). Motorhomes of length do not pull into visitor center P/L. Instead, park along the street, prior to the gate, on the right side
