Question about Fort Pickens Campground

Are there any road closures (Highway 399 or Fort Pickens road for example) that are currently closed? I'm seeing some National Park notices that there are. I'm guessing they may just be out of date. Thanks!

Yes, Hwy 399 from Navarre FL to Pensacola Beach FL is closed to RVs because of weight and lane restrictions. If traveling from east use Hwy 98 instead. Hwy 399, also known as Ft. Pickens road is good from Pensacola Beach to the Gulf Islands National Seashore entrance.

Besides what is posted below, call the park headquarters for the latest. If you have a campsite and the road is closed, they usually send out an email to you, but it is not always timely.
