“Very pretty, well run urban campground”

The park was easy to find. It is located at the end of Glover Road. (main street Fort Langley). There is pavement all the way until you arrive at the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic.
Our site, D2, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer) were to the left side. Distancing is very reasonable for an urban park. Most sites had a vegetation barrier Each site has a table and most have a fire pit. Our site was flat but sloped to the right. Overall the park was pretty and well manicured.
The included “Tengo” wifi internet worked very well with a log in password. We did find a few OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or pay showers but we checked and found them clean. There is a pathway that runs along the property and is popular with locals walking their dogs . There is a much longer trail (Fort to Fort) that begins across the bridge. It is a popular bicycle and walking trail. During the peak season, the campground rents out “peddle cars” large for adults and small for children. There is a very small store on site as well as propane sales. Within easy walking distance is the village of Fort Langley where you can find good food and convenience stores. We found this park to be a well run urban RV park. We paid $47.00 less10% for booking on line per night and we feel we received good very good value. We will be back if in the area again. Be advised, this is a very popular park and booking is allowed 365 days out.

This campground is located on Brae Island, which lies in the middle of the Fraser River. Access to the park is via a bridge across the Bedford Channel. It is a short walk for a reasonably able-bodied person to the charming town of Fort Langley which has interesting shops, galleries and restaurants.
This is a large park with a variety of camping options to meet just about anyone's needs. There are small RV/tent sites with 30 amp electricity and water; full hook-up sites with either 30 amp or 50 amp electricity, water and sewer; family tent cabins; and a group tent camping site. The park features many amenities - restrooms with flush toilets and showers, swimming pool, store and cafe (with free WI-Fi); children's playground, meeting hall, boat rentals, laundry facilities, and supervised kids' activities during the summer.
We arrived on a Sunday in mid-June with no reservations and had no problems getting a site as the park was only about 1/3 full. Without a reservation, you must stop at the entrance station and a site will be assigned to you. We felt our site (#2 in the Kingfisher Loop) was nothing special and wished that we could have driven around ourselves and picked out something more to our liking, but it served the purpose. In walking around the campground, I made note that the Salamander Loop had the nicest sites to our way of thinking, but of course everyone looks for something different in a campsite. I'd recommend getting reservations for later in the summer and especially if you are arriving on a weekend. This is a very family-friendly park.
This is definitely not a wilderness camping experience, but the location is great for visiting the town of Fort Langley and the Fort Langley National Historic Site (well worth a visit!!). The park also provides easy access to miles and miles of great walking and bicycling trails.
The only downside to this park is the noise from trains which run frequently along the opposite side of the river and blow their horns loudly at the crossings. After two nights of camping we were not sorry to leave that annoyance behind!
The price quoted above is in Canadian funds. At the time of our trip that worked out to about $30 in US funds but of course the exchange rate is constantly changing.
