Overall Rating

This forest service campground is maintained beautifully, the flush toilets are spotless and the hosts are delightful. Choose your site carefully, it can get crowded in the center. A lot of tent campers and small trailers, would not recommend bringing anything larger than a 19 ft trailer.

Overall Rating

Lovely campground for smaller rigs; larger rigs might fit in the upper loop (site 24 is fantastic) but the interior roads are narrow and curvy and I watched as many larger trailers (over 25') hit rocks and/or trees as they tried to get around. Looks like a great spot but closes in the winter season. Only campground that is open in the area is Cedar Bluff.
