Easy access to level site for 24’ rig. Slept the best we did all week. Walked around the roads/trails connecting campsites. Saw portable restrooms but did not use. So close to the north entrance of crater lake and quiet it’s worth a stop

We were optimistic, after several days of warm weather, but there was still too much snow to access an area to camp that wasn’t on the highway. A quick walk revealed a lot of mud. Come back when the snow is gone!

Had a nice open area. We only saw one other camper upon our arrival. Saw several more had come when we left in the morning. Had decent cell service (2 bars for Verizon). We did hear the wolves howl at night off in the distance. Otherwise nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again!

It is a narrow road right off the highway. Close to Diamond lake and Crater lake. I don't suggest to go too far back if you have a big rig. It is a narrow road right off the highway. Close to Diamond lake and Crater lake. I don't suggest to go too far back if you have a big rig. There is a smaller site if you keep going straight back to the left though. For us being a 30 foot class C we had to turn back to go to the second pull out site instead. (Be careful it’s hard to turn around if you go too far) We ended up getting stuck at one point! The road is worse and worse the further you go down. There is wolves in the area!! We heard them the first night. Then two days later saw one walking our dog. It was about 20 feet from us following my dog through the woods! Be careful here… The second pull through site that we ended up staying in was super unlevel.. Also the highway noise was horrible! Some ATVs but that doesn’t bother us. The bugs and mosquitoes were pretty crazy! Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it, but if you need a quick stay and cell service this could work for you!

Nice and easy forest road to find with a few spots to camp. Only one other set of campers while I was here who were quiet. Great internet for Verizon.

Had good service so we could work from the camper. Just off the main road before Crater Lake National Forest north entrance. Beautiful area! Some trash left behind by other campers, but we picked it up. Snowmobile trail goes around there as well. Great side roads for walks with the dogs.
