Got here around 9pm and could still find my way. We only went a few miles in. 2 bars if Verizon most of the time, but it did flicker down to 1 bar occasionally. Still enough to stream movies with limited lag

We stayed one night on FR 663, but are bookmarking it to go back. 7 1/2 miles of road and lots of sites to choose from. We went 7miles in - nice clearing circled by aspens and pine. About 9600’ elevation. We hiked up the road to the Buckles Lake trailhead and hiked back to the lake. One vehicle in and out in 24 hours! All in all, an ... more

We were there on a holiday weekend so there was plenty of activity, but still wasn’t too hard to find a spot. Because the road is so narrow and steep I wouldn’t recommend a huge rig. Our 15’ TT did just fine, although there were others with much bigger set ups.
Lots of trails to explore through the woods, also people hunt and ride up here.
ATT coverage was excellent in some spots and poor in others, depending on the surrounding hills.
