We were there about 2 weeks ago and the fire level was at the highest level, so no campfires were allowed. But I do believe the sign said that little camping stoves were allowed. So be sure to check the signs when you arrive because the fire threat level changes periodically.

They were allowed at the time we camped here. You should definitely check with the National Forest Service to make sure that is still the case.
