We are a 40’ motorhome with a toad. There is a spot with fire ring right off Crater Lake Hwy, that is perfect! Tucked in behind trees, no one would know you’re there. Quiet and only 20 mins from Crater Lake NP.

Great place
FR 610 actually dead ends at the Union Creek Trail head
Between the turn off from Hwy 62 and the Union Creek Trail head, I could count about 4 nice spots.
Not far from Crater Lake
Let's keep it that way!

I found this spot by accident: I was looking for another camping spot when I passed this road and saw a fire ring out of the corner of my eye. Right next to the main highway there is a large pull thru spot with a fire ring. If you go further down the forest road there is at least one more spot (where I stayed) on the left, also with a small fire ring. This spot is far enough from the main highway to be quiet and private. There were no other humans the night I stayed, and I think I heard wolves in the morning.
