We would give 5 stars if people didn’t just empty their trash into the woods, but their wasn’t trash in the campsite itself.

But it's busy and just a gravel lot. My biggest complaint is the internet. We work full-time and it was a headache getting internet to work. If it did work it was slow. We have T-Mobile home internet and would get 2-3 bars max. During the morning it was doable, after 12.. Just an uphill battle. We also have Verizon with pepwave booster and for cell serivce. 2 bars max. Same thing after 12 it goes to crap. Even jumping on different band the best I can get at 1:30 on a Wednesday is 1.4 down and .05 up (Verizon after giving up on T-mobile)

“Great Dry Camping Spot”
Reviewed 9/30/2022
If you are completely ok with no amenities at all-this is a great spot! We drive in about a mile or so on a very red dirt road and found a great secluded little spot. Had to pass many others before I got there but the road seems to go on forever. Very little bug activity at night and quiet. Loved it!

The campground itself is ok. There are some isolated spots, but they were all taken. Cell service is dicey out here, road is bumpy but not rutted up. A few seedy characters driving around, not too surprising given the close proximity to bend.

The mountain biking here is so, so worth it. The spaces are nice too. We camped at a site a mile in with no one near us for 2 nights. It’s a straight shot out from bend on a single road. Its also near this little bakery called Sparrows. Try this place out!!

The road is very navigable even for smaller cars. Numerous dispersed spots. Some solo and some next to each other for groups. I stayed three nights in an isolated spot and could only see the reflection of other cars and couldn’t hear a human sound. Right next to hundreds of miles of MTB trails.

Great space to camp, work, mountain bike! The trails are right outside your door. And you're about six miles from Bend. The road gets rougher the further in you go, but a decent amount of space as soon as you enter. If you have a big rig, careful, rough road and not a lot of space to turn around. If you have tents or a small rig with decent clearance, you've got a lot of choices. Since we stayed closer to the main road, the cell service (AT&T) worked well (we have a booster), and it's beautiful (dusty road all the time, though) and the trails are right there!

I stayed here for a month with no issues. It was nice, quiet, and close to Bend. I was only 10-15 min away from Bend which was good so I can work. *Reading past reviews, I believe they must have “cleaned up” the area from trash and homeless cause I didn’t see any of that.

HOWEVER; We returned to scout it out for another visit to Bend. We were heartbroken to see what had become of the are. There are abandoned vehicles and tents. All (we do mean ALL) sites had garbage in them. This is not a place we would camp. It feels dangerous.
