“Beautiful! Not for large rigs. ”

If you have 30 feet or more, enter off of the 87. Much easier access for large rigs and larger sites. Holiday weekends are busy but we stayed the last week of October and there were only a few other campers. Cold, but loved every minute out here.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Plenty of sites many suited for multiple big rigs. Nice shade and decent roads. Downside....side by side and razor traffic is heavy. To their credit when night fell they all got off the road. Other downside people don’t respect the land, plenty of spots had multitudes of toilet paper and garbage... more

If it has rained within the past week you should considering coming in from the east entrance just off of Highway 87. The west entrance had a lot of mud holes and is a lot more forested so it doesn't dry out as quickly. Plenty of room for big trailers, again east entrance has more camping spots, I would head down forest road 616 instea... more
