This could be a great place as the setting next to the Rouge River is gorgeous. Trees are cut so high that they don’t provide shade which is a problem since the electrical has issues. Most are only 30 amp. WiFi and cable are horrible. No propane offered. Rec room closed. Bathrooms dated with no privacy and are filthy as well as the lau... more
This could be a great place as the setting next to the Rouge River is gorgeous. Trees are cut so high that they don’t provide shade which is a problem since the electrical has issues. Most are only 30 amp. WiFi and cable are horrible. No propane offered. Rec room closed. Bathrooms dated with no privacy and are filthy as well as the laundry room. As another stated, the owner is temperamental. The camp host Paul seems unaware of the area and camping in general. Lied about several things.

Not a safe RV park- no security gates or cameras and many loud pickup trucks “passing through” or sitting at idle at all hours. Sites are VERY close together - you’ll be inhaling your neighbors sewage. No WiFi and low cell access. Riverfront mostly ticks and goose poop but rest of property in fair shape. Sites are VERY close together - you’ll be inhaling your neighbors sewage.
No WiFi and low cell access. Riverfront mostly ticks and goose poop but rest of property in fair shape. Owner is very temperamental and seems to run this mostly for his buddies to drink and get rowdy.

Overall Rating
The owners/managers are super friendly and even helped us with the back in spots. Very nicely paved, with gravel sites. Each site has a picnic table and some amount of shade, which is great when it’s 100°. The best part is that this park is on the Rogue River, so we were able to sit at the River front every night!

The owners Steve, Sally, and the Camp host Mandi do a really great job of keeping this river side park looking beautiful and are awesome hosts. However, the best part about this park is the people. It is like it’s own little community of great people that welcome newcomers with open arms. My wife and I have been traveling for a year and a half, and this park was hands down our favorite. There are many restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.
