My husband and I did a 46 day trip and 10 states and this was by far was my favorite place. The sites are so beautiful huge trees , moss and ferns. The lake is right there and it was so fun to spend the day swimming and floating , bring a raft! There is a trail the goes through & around thr park and it was amazing and we were the only... more

Stayed here on a nice weekend in mid-April. It was about 1/3 full. Our site, #30, was extremely private with lots of room for kids and dogs. The lake was small but nice. It was a MAD HOUSE at Flowing Lake County Park when we camped here in July, however, in spite of it being packed with families and summer camp groups, it was surprisingly pleasant for us (no kids and working from the trailer).
