“Beautiful Cheap Camping Near the Redwoods National & State Parks”

Reviewed Jun 17, 2018

Overall Rating

This campground has everything you need when dry camping (except a dump station). Most sites seem to have a length limit of 20-25ft, which is the length of just our truck, but there is parking near the camp host if your vehicle doesn't fit in the site too. Site 14 is the only full hook up site and is $20/night (+5 for each additional... more

Sites are very tight indeed. If you are a #VanLife person or have a very short trailer or motor home, you can probably make it work. Sites here with no hookups are $15. There's one site, #14, which has full hookups with 30 amp service for $20. Unfortunately, that's right next to the camp host's site, which he has managed to junk up wi... more

“GREAT! In the Redwoods, away from everyone else”

Reviewed Aug 01, 2017

Overall Rating

Keller is a hidden secret. Get there any morning or early afternoon and you will find a spot. However, if you are 26' and above, there are limits to the number of sites you can get...so get there early and you will get a spot. Site "B" is the largest pull through, and a 40' and car will fit, but you need to unhook before you pull in... more

“A little urban patch of dog-friendly redwoods ”

Reviewed Jul 18, 2016

Overall Rating

This campground is best suited for smaller rigs or tents, but there are a few spots that will fit a mid-size RV. There is also one spot with hook-ups, everything else is dry. We ended up in an extra parking area next to a site after consulting with the camp host. This worked out well for us as it was easy to get in and out of for one n... more

“Beautiful, private campground with all the Redwood charm!”

Reviewed Jul 30, 2015

Overall Rating

We stayed at F.K for one night, mid-week in July (which is "peak" time). I'd imagine that on a weekend it might be hard to find a spot because the campground was definitely pretty full! No showers, but water to each camp site. There are restrooms, a SUPER nice playground and picnic area. The sites were awesome! Large, and very priv... more
