The campsites are wooded and the lake is very pretty. We had a camper so we didn’t use the bathhouses but they need some attention!
Silver Foxes would stay here again

The bathrooms are the main reason I would never ever come back here again. No toilet paper, trash everywhere, wads of hair, USED tampons and pads on the floor. I guess they assume people shower in their camper to even care to clean ANY of their Bath houses. We went to every single bath house in this campground and each one was just ... more

We went to every single bath house in this campground and each one was just as bad as the last one.
We used to come here when we were kids, I’m glad I left our three children at home- they would’ve never used the showers here. We are not hoity toity neither- I pee in the woods all the time when hiking- this place is for real gross.
Walking around the campground there is trash all over the floor.
Ugh- I’m so disappointed.
ONLY good thing about our spot was the shade. THATS IT.

They put me in dispersed camping which is at the end of the reservoir in a dirt lot with broken picnic tables. Sites had a narrow paved strip which was relatively level. I believe all were back-in and approx 50ft long. The rest of the site is on sandy forest soil with a table, barbeque and fire pit. All sites had electric and water, some also sewer.
The bathhouse was basic but clean (didn't test the showers). There was laundry.
There is a small sandy beach at the campground which is nice for kids.
The larger county park has hiking and a water park, cabins etc.
Cori1501 would stay here again
