“Nice campground in the high mountains for tent campers and small-to-medium size RVs”

The elevation of this Forest Service campground is almost 9000 feet so it's a nice respite from the heat of summer. When we stayed in mid-August (2020) the Wasatch Front valley temperatures were right around 100 degrees but the temps at the campground were upper 70s the first day and right around 80 the second day.

The camping sites are a bit small - you're not going to get a 40' class A in here, nor a big 5vr. When we pulled up to site 10 with our 25' 11" travel trailer the 4 adults in the campground across the road all turned their chairs around and said, "This should be interesting." We squeezed in but it took a little bit of doing, mostly because the campground road is narrow and we had to back in along the curve of the road.

The campground is just a mile or two from the Electric Lake boat launch (at which there appeared to be several RVs and tents so dispersed camping might be an option there).

We arrived on Friday night; the campground was almost full but by Sunday afternoon we were the only ones left (as we were pulling out Sunday evening another couple pulled in with their tent trailer).

If you have an RV and can avoid sites 2 or 3 you probably should. Those sites aren't any where close to level, but you could make do if you had to. The rest of the sites appear to be closer to level (we did have to level 4" side-to-side in site 10).
