I’d stay there again IF I was able to select my area.

Probably the most expensive campground in the area. I figured the price would be worth all the amenities. They advertise laundry, showers, and free wifi so I was immediately interested. There are 7 out of 9 washer are out of order and 7 out of 10 dryers are out of order.... 2 washers and 3 dryers for this giant campground to use. I don't really find that acceptable but I dealt with it. Luckily I didn't have to wait in line like others are probably having to during the day. I decided to wash my clothes very late to avoid this. The bathrooms are okay. Showers are Tiny but it works. Tons of hot water and nice pressure. Shower head could use an upgrade. The wifi is just a joke. Trying to stay connected to the wifi was actually more frustrating than using cell data which was also non-existent. Made planning my next points of travel very difficult. The spaces for your rig are squeezed together so basically no privacy. The only perk of my stay here was how close we were to town. Not worth the price.

Tight access roads fairly small sites we have a 40ft 5er. We stopped over night. The spigot was not freeze protected my hose was woke up to No water had to thaw out their pipe. The sites are very hard to level on our site had multiple pitches. Great location on and off I-40. We will stay somewhere else next time.

Even on a weekend in a popular snowbird time I found it easy to get a reservation using the nationwide KOA website. I extended it a night when I arrived having found it was far better than described by other Campendium reviewers. This is a lovely camp with excellent facilities and helpful office staff. Any criticism is likely from very large rigs as the roads seem better adapted to smaller rigs. Nonetheless, I saw rigs of all sizes including with additional trailers. Many, if not most, of the sites are pull through. Most sites are separated by trees or a fence. There is a fire pit, grill and picnic table at each site. There are full hookups available including cable (didn’t work for me but it may be a problem with my system). I was very happy with antenna reception that includes all the major networks. AT&T has 2 bars of 5G. The camp WiFi is fast enough and reception is good (my site is toward the back of the camp). There are lots of amenities including a jumping pillow and playground for kids, dog areas, clean restroom/showers, laundry and hiking trails that lead into the mountains. The camp is really in town but has a forest feel. It is close to everything in Flagstaff.

They have a sign up blaming supply chain issues but another traveler told me it was like this a year ago. It took HOURS to do laundry when it should have taken much longer. The upside is I met several nice people while waiting for a machine to open up.

Tips - Have an alternate means of navigation if you're using the Garmin RV 890. Ask for a level site, if there are any.
Favorites - Dog park, kid park, bouncing pad, the scenery, and access to Flagstaff.
Negatives - Our site, 191, is concave plenty long but you have to hit it just right to use your auto levelers if you have them. This is the only site that took almost an hour to level in three years of full-time traveling. Our site wasn't the only one with this problem, we talked to a few other people while we were battling ours. The area is showing its age with roads in need of repair and sites right on top of one another. Not our favorite KOA.

Flagstaff KOA: Showing its Age, OK for overnight stop
28 Apr to 30 Apr ‘22
$65/night during the week and $75/night weekends.
This was an emergency stay due to trailer problems. This KOA is showing its age. The roads were rough and needing repair; sites are gravel. The sites are very close together even for a KOA, our TT is 24 feet (tow vehicle is a Ford F150) and we had to back out of the “pull through” we were assigned due to trees and rocks. Just could not make the turn onto the roadway going forward. We did not use any of the facilities so cannot comment on them. Staff was friendly and accommodating when we explained our trailer problems including holding two extra days open without charging for them if repairs took longer than expected. Each site had a picnic table, fire ring, BBQ grill, water, electricity (20/30/50 amp) and sewer. The sewer did not have the usual cover, rather a plastic cup was used to close it. The water pressure was high so suggest that you use a pressure regulator. Our site was not level so had to use leveling blocks to level the TT. I had to adjust the steps on the trailer due to the uneven ground surface. We would not stay there again except in an emergency.

We got a prime spot next to the big air jumping pillow, my kids (14,11,&8) were in heaven. We were in town for family but the KOA had lots of good stuff for families. Lots of shade and the spots were big enough for us!

No visible tent or trailer. Just a tarp city. Discussed with management as this is not the safe environment I would expect from a KOA. They did not see an issue with this and were quite rude about the situation. I will not stay in this KOA again and I am uncomfortable with this situation and would hesitate to pick a KOA in the future. I have never experienced anything like this at a KOA.
