This park is incredibly well kept with a great view of the water at almost every site! The camp hosts Rick and his wife were so friendly and helpful, when we first arrived we had some issues with the site we had reserved due to the slope and the clearance of our rig and they went out of their way to help accommodate us. This park is incredibly well kept with a great view of the water at almost every site! The camp hosts Rick and his wife were so friendly and helpful, when we first arrived we had some issues with the site we had reserved due to the slope and the clearance of our rig and they went out of their way to help accommodate us. They made our stay that much better! The sites are spread out and quiet, nicer than the park down the road. Would definitely recommend this park to anyone looking to visit the area.

This is a beautiful park. It was out of water several times for several days. One camp host chased my husband down to tell him to be sure to pick up dog poop which we always do. When we showed up to set up camp, there was a pound of dog kibble and a huge dog crap right in the site area, and much poop ignored all around the park. This m... more
This is a beautiful park. It was out of water several times for several days. One camp host chased my husband down to tell him to be sure to pick up dog poop which we always do. When we showed up to set up camp, there was a pound of dog kibble and a huge dog crap right in the site area, and much poop ignored all around the park. This morning, the same host BANGED on the front of the trailer at 0830 setting my dogs off just for the joy of it. Never have we experienced such harassment from a camp host. Must be trickle down from the now defunct US Govt. Sorry, USACE, you need to do better. Campers do not need to fall in daily for inspection.

Overall Rating
Grass was well maintained, beach area kept clean. Swimming area is separated from the river by a dock. Dump station on the way out is convenient and clean. The train that runs adjacent to the park is the only real draw back. They're currently renovating this park, so we hope to visit it next summer if/when they're done.

Paid for a spot that I wanted because the website stated one thing but after one whole day being here and already asked to move my vehicle because it was parked wrong, than 6 hrs later was told I could not have 2 vehicles here when online it says you can have a max of 3 vehicles!!!!! Paid for a spot that I wanted because the website stated one thing but after one whole day being here and already asked to move my vehicle because it was parked wrong, than 6 hrs later was told I could not have 2 vehicles here when online it says you can have a max of 3 vehicles!!!!! So one I’m sleeping in and the other vehicle was the transportation vehicle but since I’ve had to move it I have to walk to get to my transportation. Why did I pay for this site then?!?! Willam is an ass and needs to be fired.....
