Fireside Campground

This campground is a mix of seasonal campers as well as nightly visitors. The sites are large and vary from pull thru to back in. Check-in was fast. Cart escort to the site. Rick was super helpful and couldn't be nicer. Updates were in progress but more are still needed. Our site was large. (Tree needed trimming). Tight roads. We were only here for overnight in the middle of the week so not sure how it is on weekends. There are several monthly and seasonal campers, but they are dispersed throughout. Many loops with lots of trees to provide decent privacy.
Since we were passing through not sure what there is to do in area, but seems fishing would be one thing.

This place was amazing. We are on a bike trip across the state and this is the best one we stayed at. The owners are the nicest people! They circle the camp in a golf cart, interact with one another, and offer you anything to make your stay better. They have playgrounds and extremely fun games to play. What a great location and place to camp. The owners are putting back into the campground with many improvements. Facilities are very nice & clean with options for cabins, travel trailers, and remote tent sites. Highly recommend.
