“Investment Property Owners Beware”

Property is beautiful been wanted to stay as I was looking at investing with FireFly so I decided to go and stay. First issue is they do have after hours checkin which is a high %, however if you get there 1 minute after 7:01pm for RV and 9:01pm for Tiny Home you get hit with a $100.00 late check in fee, per site not per group. Property is beautiful been wanted to stay as I was looking at investing with FireFly so I decided to go and stay. First issue is they do have after hours checkin which is a high %, however if you get there 1 minute after 7:01pm for RV and 9:01pm for Tiny Home you get hit with a $100.00 late check in fee, per site not per group. Now lets talk about checkout and late fees, I was in Class A motorcoach with a tow hooked up and out of my spot by 11:00, stopped by the onsite store to get ice, snacks, map out route etc causing me to leave the property by 11:34. Get on the road and get hit with a $25.00 fee no explanation nothing, had to call to get told it is a late checkout fee and if you are not out of the gate by 11:01 you get a late checkout which I understand but not documented anywhere by property mgmt.
Property owners to do not receive any of those fees but it leaves a bad impression on their guest due to onsite property mgmt to never want to return making your property a bad investment to lease out your spot or tiny home. I will not be going back as my nightly rate after fees ended up being $171, for a simple RV pad listed at $70.00 a night. I have stayed at much nicer exclusive resorts with much better customer service and management.

Spent a weekend at site #168. Sites are concrete, and daily level. Not many trees in the park, and you sit on a hillside so it's windy most of the time. I slept maybe 4-5 hours the entire weekend, because we had party neighbors two sites down. Music, laughing, all lights on until 1:30AM first night, and 12:30AM second night. Manag... more
Spent a weekend at site #168. Sites are concrete, and daily level. Not many trees in the park, and you sit on a hillside so it's windy most of the time. I slept maybe 4-5 hours the entire weekend, because we had party neighbors two sites down. Music, laughing, all lights on until 1:30AM first night, and 12:30AM second night. Management was invisible, and tried calling three numbers get get someone including after hours number to get a recording loop. Left messages for management at the gate to no avail, finally was able to get a hold of a physical person on Monday, not apologetic, but blamed me for not using after hours number in which I explained was a recorded loop. Spoke to neighbors from Houston the next day, and they said most likely never to return. The only amenity is the pool which is always over crowded. I don't understand how you can have no management available at anytime on a Saturday or Sunday which is the busiest time of the week! I would steer clear of this mismanaged resort, not worth the money...

Firefly is a 1st class RV resort. The layout, views, dark sky at night, swimming pool, grilling area and proximity to Fredericksburg are outstanding. Firefly is a 1st class RV resort. The layout, views, dark sky at night, swimming pool, grilling area and proximity to Fredericksburg are outstanding. Employees are courteous and genuinely interested in making sure you have a perfect stay. Other guests and individual lot owners are very friendly. Have already booked another stay at Firefly with the entire family going and staying not only in an RV site but also in the beautiful tiny homes available.
There is one item that future RV guests should be aware of. The RV sites are not level. There may be some that are level, however, many that I looked at and the one I stayed in are not level. My leveling system was not able to compensate due to excessive slope. That is not stopping me from going back to this exceptional resort.

Great first impression. Welcoming staff. Pool and community space are top notch ! We stayed in Lot 194 in our 5th wheel trailer. It’s a large corner lot with a great view of the park and beyond. The space included a pergola and outdoor dining table. Bonus!

We chose site62 because it is at the top of the hill, which gives Breeze!
FireFly, RV resort exceeded our expectations as it is a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure whether you are doing the wine trail or listening to music in Lukenbach. We plan on staying here often and highly recommend the top of the hill for your stay.
There is no Wi-Fi in the RV resort at this point unless the individual site has installed Wi-Fi. It seems to be for the tiny homes only. I did speak with several of the owners in staff who said that the site will have Wi-Fi in the near future.

Wow !! Wonderful location with beautiful scenery. Newer resort style campground with excellent amenities. Great location for visiting Fredericksburg. We stayed on Lot #73 and it was perfect !!

Resort style - a mix of tiny homes and rv spaces. Amazing community space with beautiful pool. We stayed in lot 194- a corner lot with lots of space. Included a pergola for outdoor dining. Convenient to Fredericksburg and a mile away from Luckenbach.
