Overall Rating
Decent roads in from either direction - we came from Maupin and then exited to Govt camp.
Pit toilet - we came during COVID in May 2020 so wasn't being maintained
Several great hiking trails nearby - we did a 6 mile roundtrip to lookout area with excellent views of mt hood and mt adams.
3 campsites - all were good, but definitely we enjoyed the one that was right next to cold creek. it was beautiful! you do have to park up above and walk your stuff down a short hill, but for us it was worth it to be right next to the water.
