Easy on off from the road. We stayed at the West Campground site# 33A which is close to the water front. There weren't many campers during our stays that we had a private open water view. Very nice grounds with grass and trees. Some sites have pads and some don't. Check the info from the site detail link during the registration. They provide free WIFI with a good strength. The Centre campground is little closer to the shower, bathroom and the dump station but is on the hill side. It might have its own advantage being up there but the dump station was on the hill and the loop was quite tight that might pose a problem for some long rig. Ours was Class B and had no issues. The area is very quiet (at least during our stay which was early in season) but seems not much to do. However, the trail that runs across the river connecting the islands were very unique and so peaceful. Well paved trails.

While the West area has 2 service (20 and 30 amp) and rustic sites, the East area has many full 50-amp hook up, large sites. I would definitely caution you to make sure the site you’re requesting is level as there are a few sites in the 170s and the 213-220 range that are pretty steep (our Class A would have never found level, but some travel trailers with a dozen lego blocks under the front stabilizers managed).
There is a beautiful beach and the campground is very quiet with no organized activities.
We would definitely stay here again.
Happy Trails!

Our site was great - very wide, flat, mature trees and had views of the river when no one was camped across from us. The beach area is perfect for small children - large, nice sand which is groomed regularly and very shallow water. There was easy access to the Waterfront Trail at the entranceway to the park with Upper Canada Village and the Wild Bird Sanctuary (closed during COVID) just a short bike ride away. Groceries and a craft brewery were minutes away as well.
There were a number of waterfront sites that looked amazing and that would accommodate larger rigs but they do not have any services. They did get lots of sun for solar and seemed to get a fair breeze to help with the heat.
The dump station is located at the top of a small hill (across from garbage and recycling) and we found it difficult to dump. We ended up using the dump station near McLaren Campground on the Long Sault Parkway (10 minutes away).
There was no WIFI but our Rogers signal was strong.
