“Very nice park”

Not far off the interstate highway but far enough to be quite. Few trees but nice room between sites.
Thanks Oregon!

“HellaHot and Dry at end of July”

Reviewed Jul 27, 2018

Overall Rating

As hard as they tried, it seemed park staff could not keep enough water on the campground grass to keep it green. It was 100+ both nights we were there. Our RV A/C never turned off! The water level was so low, the river didn’t even look inviting. The only folks we ever saw were park staff and the poor soles that were tent camping. ... more

“Breathtaking view”

Reviewed Oct 14, 2017

We stayed one night on September 21st but would've stayed longer had we not been on such a tight schedule. Our site was out close to the Snake River; actually the first site to the right as you descend to the "outer" loop. (In front of recycle bins) True....hardly any trees and, true....windy. But also true....we had NO neighbors. The ... more

“Beautiful views and peaceful”

Reviewed Sep 23, 2017

We came here after several weeks of busy exploring in Washington and Oregon. There is nothing to do in this area, but that is just what we needed... a week of downtime. There are not many stores or anything nearby so stock up before you come. The campsites in the C loop are large with generous spacing between sites. The Snake River was... more

“Comfortable with great views”

Reviewed Jul 17, 2017

Overall Rating

It's true, there is nothing around this campground however it was a pleasant stay. You have a choice of staying in the I interior loop where they have planted bushes that afford more privacy or elect the upper more open loop with beautiful views of the Snake River. All in all an enjoyable experience!

“Lots of sites, most with electric and water. ”

Reviewed Jul 10, 2016

Stayed here over 4th of July weekend. It was quite warm at 90+ degrees. Stayed in C loop which seems like overflow, but still alright. Shade is definitely better in B loop, but the roads seem to be tighter too. Campground is right on Snake River with beautiful views. Lots of boaters camping there. Closest town is Huntington OR which... more

Interesting that we had the same site as the previous reviewer and yet a very different experience. The site is up on a bluff a bit, but you can get down to the trail and to the water without too much trouble. You're definitely not on a beach, though. True, there's no shade. If you want shade it would be best to get a site in the Br... more

“Nice spot on the river.”

This is a nice campground with a few spots on the Snake River. Our site, 108, bordered the river but you couldn't really access it directly from the site. Privacy was ok, not great, and our site had no shade, which was great for the solar panels, but not so great for escaping the afternoon heat. We had to pick up our site a bit (tra... more
