“Tiny municipal campground on edge of gorge”

I agree about the great location (on gorge and close to town), but the sites were tiny and we have a tiny vehicle (17 1/2’ camper van)! There was no screening between sites and they were wedged in around a small circle. On the plus side is free passes to neighboring municipal pool, which had a GREAT kids splash park and of course the convenience to gorge hiking and town.

The host, Paul was great, he was helpful and worked with endless stream of check-ins. We found the WiFi slow, and we were right next to office. This campground does fill up, so plan ahead.

“Wonderful spot next to the gorge and falls!”

This is a really great spot to spend one or two nights. The park is a municipal park and has excellent WiFi, is walking distance to town, is right next to the falls and gorge with a couple of trails to take for access.

Patrick was the host when we were here in September 2016 and he was really very helpful at getting setup and providing ideas for things to do in the area. He also checked on a route we were planning on taking and saved us from going on a really rough road with no services.

The site was full setup with possible 50/30/15 electrical service, sewer and water [and it tastes good too]. Some of the sites were a little close to each other, but many were spaced well enough.

There is a train somewhere in the distance, but it was too far away for it to be a bother. Road and other noises were not a factor.
