This park is still under construction. Bath house is one of the nicest we’ve seen, with piped in music! Laundry on site, machines are brand new. Sites are level and all pull thru. This park is still under construction. Bath house is one of the nicest we’ve seen, with piped in music! Laundry on site, machines are brand new. Sites are level and all pull thru. Directly across the street from the Mammoth Site and adjacent to the Buffalo Gap National Grasslands office. (Rock hounds- get your free maps there and tips on where to collect!)

Pulled in without a reservation because we wanted to see it before committing. Owner was not on site but a camper just said find a spot and it will work out. Good electric, water, sewer and level. No trees but that didn’t matter to us for one night. The next morning I called the owner to figure out how to pay. She was on her way over. ... more
Pulled in without a reservation because we wanted to see it before committing. Owner was not on site but a camper just said find a spot and it will work out. Good electric, water, sewer and level. No trees but that didn’t matter to us for one night. The next morning I called the owner to figure out how to pay. She was on her way over. We were able to leave the camper while we went to The Mammoth Site. In a busy summer this probably wouldn’t be possible. She was very nice and helpful. The website is not listed on Campendium so I googled it to get her #. The campground is still being developed so don’t expect a lot of ambiance.

Overall Rating
Work in progress with more to come. Level sites, good electric and water supply, great Wi-fi. Convenient to exploring Wind Cave, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and Crazy Horse monuments (30-90 min drives). Tetherball, bean bag toss, and ladder ball were in place but more amenities are planned.

Camp host and owner were awesome! The place is still under construction, so there are more spots and more facilities coming. Located right across the street from the Mammoth Site.

“They give no refunds ”

RV management basically has a zero refund policy. My granddaughter was injured in an AMTRAK train accident. I departed the park two days early. They refused a refund but offered 1 day credit for future visit.
Will not frequent the park again.
