8 washers/8 dryers laundromat near Park General Store were useable at a good price after I spent 30 minutes cleaning the washers/dryers. Even had to sweep leaves away from the door!

We enjoyed 3 nights in this beautiful park and hope to return again. We were in campground A which is nearest the Visitor Center to which we could walk. Near the Visitor Center is a snackbar, small grocery and an outfitter to handle most of your camping needs. We had lunch at the snackbar and bought a few clothing items at the outfitters. Site A18 was on a hill but we were able to find a reasonably level area using our Beech Teardrop devices. We thought that 20 and 22 looked reasonably level. Other sites would not have worked for us as we would have trouble leveling. (Across the road pull through A19 would have been hard for us to level,) Also check best you can that you can back in OK with a longer unit. The trees at the entrance of some sites are near the asphalt. One guy next to us had to find something else as he couldn't turn sharp enough to get into the site. We also thought that sites 8, 9, and 10 looked reasonably level. (There may be others but these caught our eye.) Campground A has an abundance of trees. Others campgrounds we drove by looked to have fewer trees. There was a concrete picnic table and a fire ring at our site. Site 18 was a fairly large in area while other sites were a little closer together. Our 25ft motorhome was able to maneuver around the park to view the various vistas. (A Noise rating of 5 means low noise - FYI)

Great campground and park except that most sites are very un-level. Be sure to check the site description on their website. Site B106 was stated as 5% downgrade and that was accurate. It took 10 inches of blocks on the back end to level our 30' RV. Many sites are worse than this. Bathrooms and showers are great. Many hiking trails in the park. Park wifi worked great at our site but the antenna was one site away.

AT&T cell coverage was OK, but we used the park wifi.

We stayed here for 2 nights in late July of 2023 - a Tuesday and Wednesday night. I chose this park for the waterfalls & features, not the campground. We came in from highway 30 (yikes) so didn't find a check in or map. Randomly found our loop and site. Site was decent enough - level and long enough, but just odd. Our firepit and table was 25-30' away from our site (not that we use them much) and there seemed to be a complete lack of control or courtesy here. When driving in, I noticed a sign stating the law was helmets were required for anyone under 16. It was like playing dodge the helmetless kids coming in the CG road - they did not get out of the road. Loads of kids riding every type of bike, scooter, e-scooters, moped scooters, e-bikes etc without helmets and not getting out of the roads. There was a giant "church" group with about 8 kids to every adult with zero campground etiquette. They walked through our site, one walked between our truck and our trailer (between the hitch and receiver!) a few times until I put a table there and two grown ups walked between our neighbor's vehicle and our neighbor's tent! The group also had a water balloon fight with 200 water balloons and left ALL OF THE DEBRIS including the packets for the balloons in our neighbor's site. This is not really the fault of the campground, but then again, I saw rangers drive through every day and do or say nothing.
Ok, enough complaining.
Pros: beautiful waterfall & scenic drive. Impressive gorge. Trash cans in front of sites. Nice snackbar / pool area. Snackbar actually had some local craft beers! Awesome swimming hole with refreshing water temp. But again, sign said "no jumping from rocks or cliffs" and there were dozens of kids AND ADULTS doing this and the rangers drove by and said nothing.
I don't usually complain (read some of my other reviews), but it was just strange that the adults were so obvious about not being respectful and not being good examples. Strange place.

Most sites are very large and most have shade. The campground in general has numerous trees. Our site backed up to the forest and was very large so no issues with having enough room. There are numerous amenities in the park such as: a swimming pool, kayaking/canoeing/pedalboating in the lake, numerous hiking trails, and a beautiful lodge that has a restaurant. Most sites are angled for ease in backing up. Not all sites have sewer hookups. The campground has WIFI, but not much bandwidth to handle a large amount of traffic. My Verizon hotspot worked fine. Two negatives: 1) there is only one dump station so there can sometimes be a lineup to dump waste tanks. The good news is that the camp host told us we could use any of the full hook-up sites that were empty when we leave to dump our tanks; 2) The campground is very hilly so some sites can present quite a challenge when trying to level your unit. All in all, this is a very nice campground. There is also a senior discount, which for us was 25%.

Great campground. Excellent staff. Hikes are great. Waterfalls are beautiful. Many campsites back up to woods. Definitely come into the park from the south!We recommend this park.
We arrived at dusk after a white knuckle drive on highway 30. Definitely better to drive in from the south! Definitely don’t chose site 65 unless you have a really small camper and no fear. The staff were great helping us get that site replaced with a more suitable site.

We love this state park. We stumbled upon it last year and spent a day and vowed to camp there. We just came back from a 6 night stay. I couldn't get a reservation during peak leaf change but thats ok. We loved our stay. This park has it all. We biked, hiked and kayaked. The lake was so peaceful, we could have stayed out all day. We have our own kayaks and there is a $6 per kayak launch fee. Well worth it. They have kayaks to rent for $7. There are paddle boats and fishing boats to rent as well. No motors allowed. The waterfalls were not running as hard this year but still beautiful. The vistas and trails are just lovely. The trail down to Fall Creek Falls is VERY STRENUOUS so wear your hiking boots and plan to stay a while when you get down there or just look at it from above. The other falls are easy and the swinging bridge is fun. There is so much too do you need to read the list. The little "town" is cute with a general store, laundry mat, outdoor store and snack shop. There is a restaurant next to the lake. Now the campsites. Ours was very private. We have a 35' class A and had plenty of room. We had to put our back stabilizers on 10" blocks even though the map said it was somewhat level. That was a first for us. We saw a lot of sites that would not work for us at all so keep that in mind. Most sites are not level. We had water but no sewer. There aren't many with sewer. We chose privacy over sewer. Wifi was fine. I even had a zoom meeting. There is a gun range somewhere that you can hear. I really didn't like that. It wasn't loud but you can hear it. If you are with a lot of little kids and don't care about privacy then campsite A has a huge park right in the middle. We made our reservation for next year before we left. Oh, DO NOT drive hwy 30. We learned the hard way.
