There was only another camper who shared the park with us for the night. You need the key to access the bathroom but we didn’t use it. There is no free WiFi. Verizon 4G/LTE signals are ok, data speed is fast enough for video streaming. T-Mobile shows two bars but data is so slow and only text message works. This place feels very safe. Dump station is next to the bathroom with water hose to cleanup after. Overall, this is a nice park and I’d stay here again if I’m passing this area again.

Fairview Park is a beautiful spot in the town of Casey, Illinois.
Campground sites are confusing but according to Jerry just pick a spot.
Only one other RV other than ours spent the night.
When you pull into the park take a left right past the block building (which has the very rustic showers, Jerry will give you the key if you ask) sites are on the left.
Casey is a unique town with the claim of a lot of worlds biggest objects.
My only complaint is the showers and bathrooms are a lot to be desired.

Beautiful greenery, ponds, and general park recreation are everywhere. GPS takes you to a hard turn that is unmanageable for most rigs, but caretaker caught us and led us in. Very nice man! Enter via the main gate. We planned on just a one-night layover, but loved it so much, we stayed for two. We had the park to ourselves. We would absolutely recommend!
Casey, Illinois is a town of very big things! They hold several Guinness Book of Records for the "World's Largest" and throughout the town are dozens of "big" items. Here, you will see the world's largest key, mailbox, chime, a big pencil, birdcage, and bunches more. Great photo opportunities. Casey is also located on the Historic National Road and the people are super friendly! Highly recommend a stop here!

Some had picnic tables and firepits as well. Jerry (who picks up the money) lives across the street and only charged us $10. Was quieter than at my house. Bathrooms available 24/7. Jerry said that a key was needed to use the showers. A great place to stay the night before checking out this cute small town.

It is a small town with big things.
Campground has 50 amp hookups and water. Dump station as you leave. There are about 40 hook ups. The night we stayed there were maybe 10 campers.

This was an amazing little city park! Although we searched the internet for a city park, we didn't find it. Then a local told us there were a number of hookups available at the park. Still can't find the park on the internet! We did mention to city officials that an internet presence was needed. Anyway, we had a 50 amp hook up with water at the site, all to ourselves. There is a dump area in the park, but not at each site. The area is fully treed and the area is all grass. We stayed there for 4 nights, and it was lovely. We drove our 30K pound 40' DP right onto the grass and picked a site, although we were careful to put out blocks under our levelers. We had decent cell coverage, also. Although we went to city hall to try to pay, they told us that someone would come to our site and collect. They did take a check. The VERY unique thing about this town is that they are installing all these attractions such as the world's biggest mailbox, pitch fork, wind chimes, etc. Very clever marketing, and all that is free to look at. There were a couple restaurants that were very good (try the Greathouse of Pizza and Richards Farm Restaurant!) and everyone was very, very friendly and helpful. This was a total unexpected jewel, and it is RIGHT ON I 70!
