Overall Rating
The Original Campground Has Been Decommissioned, However, This Remains A Fantastic, Dispersed, Camping Spot! There Are Four Or Five Distinct Spots, and an outhouse. Fairly Heavily Wooded, However, We Were Eventually Able To Obtain A Starlink Connection.

Overall Rating
In October (2021), we were in the area and stopped here to check it out. We did not camp here. Sign at the road says Trailhead, so Fairview is not really a campground. However, there are about 5 spots where you could put a small RV or a tent. There are no posts for sites, no picnic tables, fire rings. On the board it said dispersed camping was allowed "on a trail basis". There was one vault toilet and a water spigot, but don't know if the water worked. There was also a small parking spot for hikers that did have a picnic table (it didn't look like a camping site).
We thought we might camp here, but our impression was it was a recreation area for hikers with places to park, not camp.
