Friendly hostess, but not equipped to provide a receipt.
Very basic, level, spacious dirt sites.
Water + electric, plus ‘free’ dump station included in $35/night fee.
Loved the trains whistling as they came through town. Very quiet overall.

There are several pluses! Cost: you will not find anything less expensive within an easy drive of greater Seattle area. Noise: If not race day track activity stops before sundown and RR noise is limited and not so near (I like RR noise). Location: Monroe has everything supply wise. Hook-ups: No issues with 120VAC at two sites used, water tastes good, dump site available.
Web-site says 14-day limit. However, did see several longer term setups. Few folks I interacted with were all friendly and 'keep to themselves' folks.
Have stayed twice, two nights each in recent month.

If you mind noise don't camp here. You get it all: the constant racetrack (every day we were here, until late in the evening and with no races scheduled), the airplanes from the airport right next to it, the train behind the campground and all the maintenance (trucks, tractors, etc). I don't think we had a quiet minute here, even during the week. They also did a 3-hour drifting session the other day which added the pleasant smell of burning rubber to the whole atmosphere. It is conveniently located close to the Mall (30 min), auto repair and groceries. You still need at least 45 min to Seattle proper without traffic, and there is no such thing as "no traffic" in Seattle.
The camphost is nice but not very involved. We forgot to pay one day and didn't come back until late in the evening and she couldn't have cared less. There is a 7 day limit though that is strictly enforced - or so they say.
It's $25 for partial hookups, $20 for non-hookup and if you don't stay it's $6 for the dump station. You have to head behind the fairgrounds to access the campground, it is not the parking lot right next to the museum (even though there were RVs parked, too. Close enough that they couldn't extent their slides fully. No idea what that was about).
It was decently clean and un-sketchy for a big city campground. Probably because they actually enforce the 7-day limit. I didn't check out the showers but I heard mixed opinions, apparently the lady's shower is way nicer.
I can imagine it being quite crowded for the races, the spots are very close together and there is no privacy whatsoever.

We were on our way to camp at a nearby casino, but drove past the fairgrounds and noticed RV camping. Turns out they have full-hook ups with a dump station and plenty of spaces available. It's connected to the fairgrounds, so my kids and I explored the empty grounds on our bikes and watched the dirt bikes on the motocross track. I would say that would be the big negative for most people - dirt bikes practice on most afternoons on the track right next to the campground, and every Saturday night they have a car race. It's quite loud. However, my three boys thought it was AMAZING. And it really was entertaining to see! The rest of the time was VERY quiet and actually quite peaceful. The kids were able to run around, and of course it's not even 45 minutes from Seattle, so very convenient. The camp host was very sweet as well. I would recommend it if you're in need of a last minute place to stay or want to be near town (but out of the bustling city) for a few days.
