“Friendly Folks & Super Cute Store!”

Reviewed 7/3/2023

Days stayed: 2
Site Number: 2
RV Length: 25' (Travel Trailer)
Overall Rating

This is an okay place if you’re just passing through in your RV.
CONS: No views of beach or any access of Lake Michigan that we could see. There are only four sites and they are super tight. Couldn’t even put out our awning without hitting the class A next to us. All utilities are on the back of the site, (#2) with all 4 spots converging for hookups. Our sewer hose was too short to even hook up and we almost never have that issue. Barely got our slide-out to extend without hitting the pole next to us. (Maybe 18” from the pole). We have a 24’ travel trailer, but we still had to disconnect the truck to get off the driveway. It’s really all do-able, but we prefer more space around us.
If I had to pick between friendly staff or more space, I’d take this place and the nice people any day!
PROS: That said, the staff were really friendly and helpful on the phone and in-person and the store is super cute with lots of t-shirts, snacks, drinks and souvenirs. We were able to call a couple of days before the 4th of July and still get a site which was great. It was quiet and clean.

Taking a selfie with Big Foot is a Must!!😂
