The campground it situated along the water (reservoir). There are about 8 spots, each with its own table, firepit and enough flat space for tenting. A pit toilet is in the first lot (sites 1-4).
There aren’t a lot of trees, so you won’t have complete privacy from other campers or passerbys. We stayed at site 5, in the second lot, next to the creek, which was half surrounded by trees, but you’re still in open view from one side facing sites 6-8.
A boat launch is in the first lot. There are flat spots closer to the water for tenting. The road was surprisingly busy, and it was not a weekend. Decently clean, although flies were a real nuisance.
Stayed here two days (9/25/19-9/26/19).

We stayed here 5-13-19 for two nights and were quite impressed. The road in is a little narrow in places, but was easily navigated in our truck pulling a 22 foot trailer. There are two sets of sites at this location. The first 4 appeared to be somewhat cramped, but sites 5, 6, and 7 were awesome. They were spaced out in parallel against the waterfront. The second set of spots are easily long enough to fit my crew cab long bed truck and our trailer with room on both ends to spare.
Everyone was quiet while we were there and we saw a couple people fishing right down the bank from our campsite. The spots are somewhat close to the road but the traffic was only a couple people every few hours.
We took a day trip about 35 minutes up the road further to see some hot springs on a riverside. Simple yet cool.
I would say this spot is in the top 95% you can get for free minus the non-existent cell service. Although if you drive up the road 5 minutes there is enough roaming to make a call/load web pages.
