It has a massive playground, tennis courts, "go ape" course, indoor climbing wall, fishing pier, disc golf, 18-hole miniature golf and driving range, pony rides,, trail rides, paddle boats,, convenience store, and a theater with plays. Park fee is $8 per vehicle per day. Camping fee for electric only is $25, for a total of $33. Activity fees are very reasonable.
The only downside is noise from the interstate and train.

We stayed at Eugene Mahoney on the homeward leg of a 5 week road trip. My wife and I wish we had stayed a few more nights here as there is so much to do at the park. The campground is great- well spaced shaded sites with electricity and flush toilets. The showers in our loop were out of order but it was just a hundred yards or so to the next loop. Neighbors were polite and reasonably quiet. It is near I-80 so some road noise and there is an occasional train whistle.
There is so much to do here! Walking and bike trails, fishing ponds, pool, driving range, etc. Right next door is the Strategic Air Command museum.

We arrived on a Monday afternoon with no reservations and were given the last FHU site in the Little Creek campground. It was a beautiful, spacious spot and we loved it! On our next to last night, a VERY large branch from a big tree in our site fell but luckily did not hit us. The next morning the superintendent, Zach, and several other employees came to check it out and deemed it unsafe for us to stay. Zach refunded us two nights and found another spot for us to move to for the last night of our reservation. We are so thankful they had our best interests in mind and wanted to move us to keep us and our rig safe. This is a beautiful state park with lots of walking paths, driving range, putt putt and many other amenities. Great central location to Lincoln and Omaha and the cute little town of Ashland. If we’re ever in this area again, we will definitely stay here!

We stay here Memorial Day 2020. This park was basically shut down due to the coronovirus. The closest bathroom to our site was a 1/2 mile hike. We weren't given any maps. No shower facilities. Park seemed like it would be a really nice park to visit and we hope to come back once all of the virus crap is over! But for now, unless all you want is a spot to camp for the night, pass on this one.
Also, the campsite numbers are not on the signs for the campground loops. Make sure you know what campground you are staying in!
