Well run and clean campground. Convenient to RMNP, Friendly staff, sites themselves are packed together like sardines, little room to make turns when backing into sites. Not very private. Other rvs are just feet away from each other. The tent sites looked nice and bathrooms were clean.

Access is easy from Peak View Drive. The campground road is washed out dirt/gravel and dusty. Why do you need speed bumps emplaced when you have to go 2 mph over washed out road. Upper section is pull thrus with more space. We were in the lower section that are back-in; back to back sites. It is tight in the lower section, we were 25 feet from our side neighbors and 10 feet from our neighbors behind. Its OK, if your neighbors are considerate. We had a neighbor blasting music for 10 hours a day, camp hosts just came around and laughed with them. All our other neighbors were good.
If you get the lower section, try to get the sites facing east, you get a good view of the mountains out your front window. Camp store has laundry room
AT&T service was excellent, 5 bars of 5G. Streamed easily without a booster.

Camped over FDW and even though it rained just one night it did not deter our stay. Bathrooms were extremely tidy but I wasn’t impressed with the coin timed showers. But we could do a full hookup and the access point to trails and the lake was great. There was a mama deer protecting her little babe during our stay so just be cautious of your surroundings. She would run up on us with our little pups from various locations. But overall an amazing trip. Will return. We also chose a site closest to the playground and it entertained our kids for hours

The sites are very well maintained and cared for. We had multiple neighbors leave and each time the maintenance crew would come and clean tables and rake or even sweep up (dirt/gravel) to make sure it was ready for the next family. Best we have seen so far in 10k miles that we have traveled.
There are full hookups available, our site is a electric and water only and offers 20/30amp. They are spacious and even have a bear box to store food in if needed (tent camping). They are big enough for coolers to easily fit.
Sites are gravel. Our site is level and looks as neighbors are as well (no blocks under wheels).
Restrooms offer showers and flush toilets. They are VERY clean and maintained throughout the day. Showers are $2 for 6min. The TP is also soft and strong vs what we have experienced in most places.
Overall could not recommend higher!

The bathrooms were very clean, but you had to pay $2 for the shower. The staff was not particularly friendly, but that isn't the primary problem
The primary problem with this location is simply the fact that you're in a parking lot with hookups. We would not choose to stay there again. Location relative to Estes Park was fine.

The staff is rude and started attacking us after we came to them with a simple complaint. Staff began yelling an verbally assaulting us. They told us if we did not like this place, we could go somewhere else. I would recommend staying somewhere else.
