“Great campground in Escalante near a bunch of great stuff to do”

Hidden behind the Heritage Center has about 9 sites that you reserve online. Super cheap and clean. The 4 trailer sites have water close enough to hook up to, no electricity or dump station but nice picnic tables and fire pits. There are clean flush toilets at the Heritage Center but it’s a bit of a walk to them. Seems like a new place and they still need to work on a few things like a dumpster. Oh and we had great cell service. No camp host or check in so have your reservation available in case another camper didn’t realize it took reservations.

Large sites with picnic table, fire ring, nice view. Conveniently located near Escalante, Utah which has restaurants, grocery store and the Escalante Interagency Visitor Center. And of course, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Located behind the Escalante Heritage Center (on Route 12) which wasn't open because of Covid-19. They have tent sites and RV sites. Flush bathrooms located behind the Heritage Center. Water available. No electric or dumpsite.
