Without a booster, I managed to eek out 1 bar of WiFi from the adjacent library. Verizon was unusable.
Super clean: I looked hard for trash and only managed to find a small handful.
Leave a donation and spend some money in town to say thank you.

For location pretty quiet at night. Dump station has no water. Most Sites can be pulled thru however there are a couple more suited for tents right behind the thrift store. Senior center and library across drive. Winds can get pretty intense in evenings and come out of nowhere (2 campers had damage to awnings). Could not get library’s wifi from Campground. Did have 2 bars LTE without booster with Cricket.

We were in the area to fish the Encampment River and this little RV park suited us just fine. Power and water at each site. Payment is on a donation basis. Functional bathroom on site. Don't have a complaint.

There were a couple other RV's there and one tent camper. I really don't know how many total sites there were but I think I ended up counting 5-7 electric posts. There is a dump station on the far side of the bathrooms as well for donation for anyone passing through.
The park is within walking distance of a nice country bar. The museum is close as well however it was closed the day we were there. We decided take this route through the area to soak in some free hot springs along the North Platte River at Saratoga Hot Springs.
Very random Verizon service. At night I was able to get 7mpbs down unboosted to stream but other than that, it ranged from No Service to Extended.
The area was very quiet and peaceful.

Encampment, WY is classic small town Wyoming. The city has 8 sites, 5 pull thru and the rest are back in. Each has power(30/20A). 5 of the spots (north end) have Water. The spot next to the restrooms also has a sewer outlet. I stayed in the far north site next to the restrooms. Site was nearly level side to side but sloped to the east so long extension of the tongue jack.
Sign indicates there is a 3 day limit. There is a dump on the north side of the restroom building.
Good wifi signal from the town library. Better with my WFR Go2 and Elite antenna. Speed was a solid 13.47/.77 Mbps Down/Up in the evening.
Verizon is nonexistent without a booster. With the new WeBoost 4G-X I still needed to pull out the big gun antenna, a Wilson Yagi (wedge shaped), pointed toward the north east, and was able to get 16/1.66 Mbps Down/Up.
This is a donation park. There is a small box next to the restrooms. Or you can drive up the street to the town hall and pay a donation at the counter. Town hall is on the west side of the street next to the post office.
Beautiful dark skys at night, lots of stars. And very very quiet. Not much traffic on WY70.
Encampment (short for Grand Encampment), was an early 20th century copper mining operation which had a 16 mile tram to bring the ore out of the mountain mine to the southwest. After the mine shut down there was a huge sawmill in town until 1998. You can still see some of the teepee burners scatter around town which were used to burn wood waste from the mills.
History buffs won’t want to miss the Grand Encampment Museum. Original buildings from the area with lots of historic artifacts bring the locale to life. They even have a section of the tram line to give perspective to the size of the tram line.
Couple of restaurants. The Bear Trap is in Riverside, about a mile north. In town is
And to the north in Saratoga there are multiple choices. I was told that Bella’s Italian is great and makes their own cheese.
