Upon arrival we found that our camp site did not have a fire ring or a picnic table like the website said. We moved a table from another site that was not in use. We really wanted a fire so we had to go to the site next to us ( nobody was there ) just to have a fire. This was very inconvenient. Other than that we had a good time. Very ... more

We really wanted a fire so we had to go to the site next to us ( nobody was there ) just to have a fire. This was very inconvenient. Other than that we had a good time. Very peaceful.

Pulled in late. Easy late night check in. Level spots and good place to walk my dog in the morning. Cool history with the train roundhouse, nice pond. Didn't use the restrooms.

Great place on the river. A few fishermen throughout the day and evening hours as well as a few suspicious cars. The fire pits look like it could be party central On the weekends but we were here in a Monday night so it was quiet and we had the whole place to ourselves. On the weekends but we were here in a Monday night so it was quiet and we had the whole place to ourselves. There is running water in the wall behind the pit toilets.
Also be aware you need to make your reservation online because of the CoVid19. There are no more envelopes to deposit your cash like in the good ole days. They charge an extra $6.50to pay the $19 online.
The place was covered in fog in the morning.

Disappointed that we did not have a picnic table or fire ring like the website said. Very disappointed.
